Omnes Capital is investing in Heim Datacenter through the digital infrastructure team of its CEP2 fund, backing a European platform aimed at the next decade of cloud and AI demand; financial terms were not disclosed.

Heim's initial focus is the Nordics, beginning with its first data centers in Finland, with plans to grow throughout Europe. The company is building a platform to design, build, own and operate large-scale data centers for hyperscale cloud and AI customers.

The company said it is designing the platform around AI's power and cooling requirements and is assessing opportunities for heat reuse. It cites adaptable design, efficient energy use and close work with local communities as part of early development.

Omnes framed the commitment as early-stage platform building, partnering with operators to develop energy-efficient, low-carbon data centers in central locations within or close to major European metropolitan areas. The firm says this adds computing capacity in strategic locations and contributes to Europe's digital transformation and digital sovereignty.
